GLOWING AND SHINING SKIN

Is glowing skin your goal?
Do you want your skin to glow?
Complexion doesn't matter anymore, all that matters is glow. In our busy lifestyle we barely get time to indulge in skin care. But now is the time to take out some time for self. Call it self-love, maybe.
Here are our top 7 tips to your GLOWING SKIN:
1) Cleanse regularly
Key to luminous skin: clearing your “canvas” by thoroughly removing debris like dirt, oil and pollution particles that can clog pores and cause dryness. Wash your face morning and night by massaging in a small dollop of face wash lightly with fingers in circular motions, working from the inside of the face out for full coverage.
2) Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
THIS WOULD WORK MAGIC. Lack of hydration makes your complexion dull and even accentuates wrinkles and fine lines. Drink large amount of water throughout the day.
3) Eat antioxidant-rich food
Yes, what you eat can influence your skin's glow. Load up on grapes, berries and nuts like pecans and walnuts, which are rich in polyphenols such as ellagic acid and resveratrol. Aim to incorporate them into your diet daily in meals, like breakfasts, salads, or desserts, or alone as a snack.
4) The Golden Rule
Make sure you always (and we mean always) remove your makeup before hitting the sheets. The skin needs to breathe overnight. And makeup prevents that, as leaving it on overnight clogs the pores which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. Don’t possess a makeup remover? Just put some oil on a cotton pad and gently massage the oil onto your face to get rid of the makeup and dirt.
5) Sunscreen should be your best friend
Make sure you never step out without sunscreen. Apply sunscreen with SPF of at least 15 that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Since a lifetime of tan can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems, you must protect your skin from the sun.
6) Beauty Sleep

Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. If you don’t get enough shut eye, your skin gets tired just like you - it sags, and you get bags. So, don’t risk it. You can also apply honey on your face twice or thrice a week to naturally soothe and heal your skin.
7)  Go Back to Your Roots

Use Ayurvedic scrubs to nourish the skin, and help it breathe better. Luckily for you, everything you need is already in your kitchen. 2 tbsp chickpea flour, ½ tsp turmeric powder, a pinch of camphor and sandalwood with some rose water/milk/water is your perfect skincare pack. Yes, the secrets of beauty lie in ancient Ayurveda. Check Best products from Ayurveda to skincare here.
