WHY INDIA NEEDS VOCAL FOR LOCAL
India is the land of diversity, the home to treasured history and cultures and the country of traditions. We have reached at this point by ourselves, we have achieved everything by ourselves. We have learnt, discovered and evolved continuously. Personalities like A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Ratan tata, Amitabh Bachchan have been our pride since years. Talking about business and economy, India is rapidly expanding its root globally. India have been a large importer and exporter, it has been an active trading country and it has been a home to most powerful businessmen.
So, WHAT IS THE POINT FOR LOCALISATION? WHY LOCAL FOR VOCAL? WHY MAKE IN INDIA?
Here is what I have thought and known from various sources:
India, being an evolving and developing country since decades, have been dependent on several nations for raw materials, for crude, for electronics for its survival. We are majorly an importer than exporter. We are heavily relied over other countries for most of our resources. This clearly indicated that we are in no means to go against any country. Simplifying, it would mean we can never survive without other countries support. Right?
But why would be dependant on them, paying heavy import duty and increase inflation at our place. Why should we benefit other countries from our hard-earned money?
Hence, comes the role of LOCALISATION, MAKE IN INDIA, VOCAL FOR LOCAL.
If all of us together swore that we will cut down dependencies from other countries, all this would work. If we settle down for in house manufacturing, buying local we can save ourselves from being slaves to powerful nations.
So, How you're dependent on other nations?
· Which television, phone, washing machine do you use at your home? Is it Indian?
· Which brand do you wear? Is it Indian?
· Which gadgets you prefer? Are they Indian?
· Do you prefer earthen pots over Chinese lights?
· Your phone has Indian applications?
Now, you know from where to start. Its difficult to completely switch at once. But little steps of ours will lead to a big change.
First thing we all can do is to bring in the minor changes like removing apps, buying Indian products for home. Slowly you can switch your decisions for buying large electronics. You can prefer Indian manufacturers.
.
.
There is low demand for Indian products that’s why there is less or stagnant Indian manufacturing. If you will buy Indian products, Indian business will rise. People will be employed, money will remain in India, there would be no negative cash flow.
.
.
This all will gradually decrease our reliability on other nations, we will be listed as a powerful nation and we would have no fear of any wars or conflicts.
And who knows, India might once again become the sone ki chidiya!
Nice presentation excellent
