SUICIDE!!

I am disconsolate to see and hear all the incidents around me that have been resulted from mental health disturbance. We have been around hundreds of people all day long but we never know what that person might be going through. We try to put on that fake smile even if we are in deepest trouble. We actually don’t trust anyone and don’t disclose anything and at the end when we see there is no option left, we suicide.


Suicide is the major problem that the world is dealing with. There is a rapid increase in suicide rates every year globally. According to WHO, a person commits suicide every four minutes around the globe.
With this article, I am trying to emphasise on the reasons and solutions to maintain a positive mental health and inner peace.
There are several reasons to commit suicide but the most highlighted reason is disturbed MENTAL HEALTH. Having sufficient wealth, stability and other resources could not compensate for mental peace. Everything would be futile if there is no inner peace.
According to WHO,One person in five is living with some form of mental disorder, from mild depression or anxiety to psychosis. Worse, almost 1 in 10 is living with a moderate or severe mental disorder.
Now we have known the cause but is there anything that we can do on personal level? Is there any solution to deal with it?
Fortunately, there is. There are several tips that we can implement on personal level to maintain our mental health.





1.ACCEPTANCE
Accept the reality of your life, accept the decisions coming your way and accept all the criticism. If you have lost something very precious, if you have failed at something or even if you have lost everything, ACCEPT that damn thing and move on. Don’t ponder over the wrong decisions you’ve taken. Accept the failure you’ve had and take it as a journey of learning.Accept the criticism coming your way and take it as your road map to better future.LET ALL THAT GO THAT HINDERS YOUR PEACE.

2. SELF LOVE

Take time for yourself. Invest in SELF LOVE. Do what you like and always make time for yourself. Remember the Me-Time therapy. It never goes wrong. Enjoy the nature, go for a walk, bring a pet or just write. Make sure you have that self love that you can easily detach yourself from things that hurt you. Adopt LESS IS MORE method. If you have little money or little resources don’t go harsh on yourself. Adapt yourself accordingly and be happy with what you have. Yes, don’t stop yourself from achieving but don’t panic and destroy your inner peace.

3. RESIST GUILT AND ADOPT GRATITUDE

BE KIND to yourself and to others. Never stick to the failures and mistakes you did in your life. Don’t stick to that guilt. If your mistake can be rectified, go for it. If you can apologize for your mistake, go for it. Never drown into the sea of guilt because that will take you straight to unsatisfactory life. Don’t compare yourselves with others. The person has to deal with lot of comparisons and criticisms. Don’t take them seriously. DON’T TAKE LIFE SO SERIOUSLY. Adopt the attitude of gratitude. You will see people changing around you. You will see yourself changing.

4.LIVE IN THE MOMENT

Don’t ponder over what has gone or what is yet to come. Stay in your present. Don’t let your mind swing you back and forth in past and future. Glue your mind to the present. Humans have that fear in their mind that if they will take a moment of happiness, life will gift them a doze of sadness right after. Do you think, stopping yourself from accepting happiness will prevent you from sadness. No, right? You will have to deal it anyway. Then, why not LIVE IN THE DAMN MOMENT. CLIMB THAT DAMN TREE OR EXPRESS WHAT YOU THINK RIGHT AWAY.

5.TALK TO SOMEONE

If you feeling low and your mind is frozen. All you need to do is TALK. I would say talking is the best therapy. Connect with others and let yourself open. Talk to your parents, friends, colleagues or anyone around you. If you think there is no one to hear you and understand you, talk to a counselor. Internet is flooded with counselors and therapists. Get yourself one. Bring in POSITIVE OUTLETS FOR YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS to vent out. Your lowest low can someday turn into your biggest reason of depression.

WHAT DO I EXPECT?

I wish that everyone can take the issue of mental health seriously. Schools, coaching and offices should conduct several sessions on Mental health awareness. A subject of mental health can be added in school curriculum so that the kids can realize and recognize mental health easily.
