Woke up in here!
For the greater part
I do descriptive writing for the people and the very essence of what connects
people, relationships; but every now or then some place or some thing comes
across as an inspiration, enough to take out dusty subject writing out of the
shelves of my head!
So yesterday I experienced something I’d never seen before.
We were driving from Chandigarh to Palampur lurid,
all at the same time. So maybe while the mountains take away your breath by the
day, there are something eerily beautiful about them at night.
in the late hours of the evening, a six-hour journey home, through hair pin bends and partially motorable roads. Nearly no other vehicle for almost 2 kilometers behind or ahead of us, except for the occasional half hourly tourist bus that passed us at maximum speed at blind curves not marked by safety symbols or lights. A few isolated houses with a lamp hanging at their doors. As we droved by way past their bedtime, with the 9 pm RD Burman show on the radio to fill in the silence. A cold and chaste three quarters of the moon lit up the faintly befogged sky, as we meandered through the roads with the valley on one side and half cut mountains on the other, the moon shine lighting up the snow on the tops, making it all so enigmatically evil, lifelessly

Something you can’t see but feel.
