DARK TIMES OF CORONA
We are in these unprecedented times of
corona and we are constantly around the fear of getting infected. We all are
preventing ourselves anyhow because we don't want to end up lying in a hospital
bed, right? We are wearing masks, gloves and taking care of all necessary
social precautions. But is there anything, we can do, for our personal health?

1. ADOPT HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
While this is a huge topic and covers
enormous listings of the ways you can adopt a healthy lifestyle. I would rather
focus on changing those minor little habits. The first thing would be following
a sleep pattern, sleep and wakeup early and it should be in your routine.
Second would be take in fresh air by waking before sunrise. That time has the
maximum oxygen in the atmosphere. It will fill you with energy. So, these are

2. DO YOGA AND MEDITATION
We get solutions for everything from our
ancient roots. Same is with yoga and pranayama. This habit of doing yoga will
make you fit and boost your immunity. You would be able to deal with minor cold
and coughs easily.
3. ENSURE MENTAL HEALTH
We all are in a crisis where social
engagement is null. You can virtually meet but it has been years of feeling
someone's physical presence. And as such you have lot of thoughts piling up in
there. You have lot to express and to speak out, but you are having no vent to
let out. This all affects your mental health. It becomes important to know what
mental health is and how to sustain it. Well, I can suggest you make sure you have
a packed routine including cooking, doing meditation, reading, performing all
sorts of activities online, family engagement and yes taking rest.
4. CONSUME HEALTHY
To all our problems, there is one solution
which is healthy food. We have adapted a lifestyle where we hardly get time to
cook, where we are more inclined towards junk and we largely depend on soda
drinks. All this has resulted in low immunity, low strength and lethargic
habits. Food is fuel to our body. Make sure you take in a good quality fuel to
ensure your machine to work well.
5. PREFER KADHA BEFORE
SLEEPING
Coming back to our old roots and
traditions, we had always added herbs and natural ingredients in our diet. This
is required now, again. We need to take a blend of tulsi, ashwagandha, ajwain,
clove etc before sleep. It has two benefits, you will get a good relaxed sleep
and it will boost your immunity.
